Not at all physically, don’t worry.

But something struck me last week when I was chatting with George about (of all things) his workflow with his photography. He said something to the aspect of, “If the image doesn’t tell a story in itself without a caption, it doesn’t deserve a 5-star rating”. Later I probed about other aspects of his journey through the reaches of the world and I realized that much like Solomon said, everything under the sun is passing.

There’s a lot more out there. I know there is. I tasted it once.

George’s conversations reminded me of it.

I hate it when that happens; when I start struggling between different worlds and lives.

It’s a good thing I remind myself, though, because God is tugging at my heart.

We’re dog-sitting my brother in law’s puggle this week. He’s the cutest
little thing, but quite a handful!! He’s got a perfectly good crate out of
the sun, but oh, no, he decides to take his nap right on top of the patio
furniture. Cuteness.

Especially on this trip, lately I’ve been noticing that unless I write something down, I’ll forget it pretty quickly. That is not good.

A couple of quick tips I learned today:

Ok I know the economy is bad and the airline industry is taking a huge hit by it. Sometimes I wonder, though, at why point does an airline stop skimping? Case in point below is my ‘food’ on today’s flight. They said chicken teriyaki, but it was more like teriyaki sauce over an ounce of rice with scraps of chicken parts. I’m just glad I brought some snacks with me.

Well, 7 more days until I board that aeroplane again.

It’ll be HK > Shanghai > HK > Taipei > and….

In case you haven’t heard, I’m adding Tokyo on my itinerary! Two nights in town, but I plan to make the most of it! Got more tips for me on Tokyo?

• Get off my overworked butt and go shooting. Lots of shooting.
