Although I think it would be totally awesome to go to Monterrey, Mexico for work this week, I’m not sure if the rest of my work permits me to. It’s been rather crazy around work lately and despite having a great time on my vacation to Hawaii, part of me is still so burnt out.

I don’t know what happened, really.

I think a lot of it is just back to back trips and the many re-orgs that has been going on within the company that’s affecting me deeply.

Late last night, while reading the Psalm of the Day on mobible.org, I stumbled upon Psalm 121. It’s been a while…

1 I lift up my eyes to the hills—
where does my help come from?

2 My help comes from the LORD,
the Maker of heaven and earth.

3 He will not let your foot slip—
he who watches over you will not slumber;

4 indeed, he who watches over Israel
will neither slumber nor sleep.

5 The LORD watches over you—
the LORD is your shade at your right hand;

6 the sun will not harm you by day,
nor the moon by night.

7 The LORD will keep you from all harm—
he will watch over your life;

8 the LORD will watch over your coming and going
both now and forevermore.

It was refreshing and uplifting to read. I think God had a plan for me to read that in a time like this. It’s been hard in many aspects of my life. Sure, it could be worse, but I’m going through a bit of a trial period right now in my life. I’m glad to know the the Lord is watching over me and will protect me from harm in my life.

Sigh. You can pray for me. There’s a lot on my heart right now.

  • Praying for you, bro.

    P.S. thanks for the link to mobible.org, been looking for something like that.

  • me.

    Thanks again Emmanuel. I’m just getting pressured on all sides to go, not go, and to take care of many other things that have been going on at work.

    I just need to remind myself that my source is from Him who gives me strength.
